the story behind the painted society
Hi, I’m Orlaith! I’m from the small, scenic countryside of Belleek in County Armagh, and I’ve been passionate about art for as long as I can remember. Art has always been my thing—I didn’t really have many other interests growing up—but following that love has led me on an amazing journey.
I studied fashion at university, but all roads seemed to lead me back to painting and design. Along the way, I’ve worked in fashion alterations, graphic design, interior design, CAD design, and even competed in the FIDA Worldwide Fashion Illustration Competition. Each step taught me new skills, but what I love most is sharing creativity with others.
I started this venture because I love seeing the joy art brings to people. Meeting new faces, sharing my skills, and helping others create something they’re proud of is what makes this work so rewarding. Whether it’s a class, a workshop, or a fun social painting night, I love making creativity accessible, relaxed, and fun for everyone.
